Who we are…
We are Shantelle Johnson and Brian Davis. A husband-and-wife team who own and manage Smoking Pigs & Boils Catering. This venue is a legacy tribute to Shantelle’s Grandma Mae, who always had an open kitchen and adored testing new recipes with her children and grandchildren.
We aim to make Willie Mae’s Place feel like home for our customers. During the process of expanding our catering business, we noticed the need for a commissary kitchen in Monroe County. We wanted to fill that void by opening Willie Mae’s Place with the vision of expanding our community outreach by collaborating with local nonprofits.
